ECOBESTA®-Lite Therm for enhanced thermal resistance

Long-term exposure to elevated temperatures places demanding requirements on air brake tubing materials. ECOBESTA^®-Lite Therm provides enhanced long-term heat-aging performance through a three-layer structure combining UBESTA^® 3030LI6 with an advanced PA6 UBE Nylon 1024JIU core.

The system maintains stable burst pressure and impact properties during thermal aging tests of up to 4,000 hours at 125 °C according to SCANIA STD4471. It also provides excellent burst resistance at high temperatures and improved low-temperature impact behaviour.

ECOBESTA^®-Lite Therm combines thermal resistance with excellent interlayer adhesion and a wide processing window, supporting stringent air brake tubing requirements. The system has been validated in 12 × 1.5 mm and 8 × 1 mm tubes.
