# Solutions for Food Packaging & Agriculture

Films for food packaging and agriculture can require different polyamide materials depending on processing conditions and specific performance requirements. UBE provides a diversified portfolio of UBE NYLON grades, covering multiple polyamide families, viscosity levels and functionalities to address different film applications.

The range includes PA6 and PA6/6.6 grades, with specific options for BOPA, triple bubble, retort and asymmetrical film structures. Grades targeting high optical properties, flexibility, shrinkability and slip properties are also available, with specific solutions providing optimized meat adhesion and hydrolysis resistance.

UBE’s portfolio also includes PA6/6.6/12, PA6/12 and PA12 solutions. These include grades for deep drawing thermoforming, and demanding outer-layer applications, as well as PA12 solutions for applications requiring good water vapor barrier and dimensional stability. Different grades offer EU and FDA food legislation compliance for direct and/or indirect contact.
